My teaching experience is extensive and varied. At Case Western Reserve University, I taught Technical Writing, Freshman Composition, and ESL. At a private day/boarding school, I taught ESL, Algebra, and English for four years. I also taught English, with an emphasis in Grammar and Writing, at Webb School. My background in ESL and my graduate linguistics coursework have given me a very strong foundation in English grammar, which aids my tutoring in ESL/ELL, Writing, Grammar, and Essay Editing. I also offer tutoring in Reading, Public Speaking, Elementary Math, and Algebra. Outside of the academic realm, I teach ballroom dancing and enjoy reading science fiction/fantasy and cooking.
